Services
The Student Health and Counseling Center provides first aid and basic out patient care services. We have a full time staff Monday through Friday to care for your needs. First Aid is always available during clinic hours to anyone on campus. Please dial 911 for emergencies from anywhere on campus for assistance. We are staffed with Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and Pharmacy. Our center has contracted with local Lab and X-ray services for our students. Our Psychological Counseling Center also has a full time staff of Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Psychologicsts and supervised interns. Please go to the PCC web site for more information.
As a regularly enrolled student at CSUSB, you pay a Student Health Fee and you are automatically eligible for health and counseling care at the Student Health and Psychological Counseling Center. Your Student Health Fee supports and operates the Health Center. Although basic health care is provided by the Student Health Center, major illness and injury, as well as certain conditions requiring a specialist or hospitalization, are beyond our scope of service. You will be referred to an outside provider for these illnesses or injuries. If you do not have health insurance, it is advisable to purchase insurance on your own to help cover unforeseen illnesses. A supplemental insurance plan is offered to CSU students to cover these types of situations. A detailed brochure is available in the Student Health Center.
Please call ahead to schedule an appointment and with any inquiries you may have. There is NO fee for routine office visits!
